AMANDA CHEUNG ~ GUZHENG, PIPA, CELLO 張淑娟 ~ 古箏, 琵琶, 大提琴

 

 

Amanda has been playing the guzheng for eight years, the pipa for six years (both at Changlu Wu's music school), and the cello for five years. She currently attends Klein High School and is a cellist in the school orchestra and performs in the various music groups throughout Houston. In 2009 and 2011, Amanda won the Excellent and Outstanding Player Awards in her school district solo and ensemble competition; in addition, she was named to the Houston Young Artist Concert (HYAC) for her solo and ensemble performances on guzheng. She performs at Asian festivals, charity events, retirement homes, and other concerts for numerous occasions.

 

張淑娟現年十六歲。她八歲開始跟隨吳長璐老師學習古箏，三年後，同時跟隨吳老師學習琵琶。曾在2009年度及2011年度贏取了Houston Young Artist Concert(HYAC)的古箏獨奏獎及團體合奏獎。她參加各種樂團也是團中最年輕的樂手。曾參與多次亞洲節,國慶日,國際節及多項慈善的演出。現就讀Klein High School。是校內交响樂團的大提琴手。也曾赢取校區的大提琴獨奏的特別優秀獎。
